Mari Smith shared this copypress.com link on facebook (infographic is from the link), this should be relevant to anyone that does any facebook marketing.
Facebook adds ppc ads in facebook search. Can’t say I use facebook search that often but this will probably end up making search less useful.

This story from The Huffington post demonstrates how one Small Business created a PR nightmare for themselves through the use of social media. It all started when a patron of a BBQ restaurant allegedly failed to leave a tip on a $40 tab. The owner of the business proceeded to bully and verbally abuse the customer on Facebook and Twitter. Focusing on negative experiences does not enhance your reputation.
Another thing to point out is one of the reasons the restaurant might be struggling is its choice of name. “Boners BBQ” along with the tagline put a little south in your mouth might not be the best brand strategy in my opinion.
The article points out that it is important to respond to negative comments about your business made on Social Media.
Article lists some annoying types of individuals on Linkedin.
Not in the article but something I find amusing: Do a people search with keywords being social media expert. Read the first few profiles. Hint- these people are not social media experts.
Are you a social media expert? (If you answer yes shame on you)
